I stayed at the La Quinta Inn South in Coral Springs and overall had a mixed experience.||The property itself is clean, and everything from the furniture to the general upkeep looks neat and well maintained. Between the two La Quinta locations in Coral Springs, I would consider this the better one.||The room was comfortable. The bed and pillows were good, and I especially liked the sofa—it’s comfortable to relax on, lie sideways, and watch TV or talk on the phone. The door also doesn’t slam shut, which I appreciated because it keeps the room quieter. The door has a deadbolt and a U-bolt/swing bar door latch. I stayed in room 214.||The location is convenient and walkable, with small shops and restaurants nearby. It’s next to a Chase Bank and within a short walking distance of Trader Joe’s, which made things easy.||However, the Wi-Fi was a major issue. The standard connection was extremely slow, making it very difficult to work remotely. Even basic tasks like loading pages or using mobile data were slow in the room. I also had trouble with Verizon service inside the hotel, which made connectivity even more frustrating. I was told I would need to purchase premium Wi-Fi, but there was no clear way to access that option again after the initial login screen.||Breakfast was inconsistent during my stay. On the first day, the selection was very limited (only oranges as the fruit option), and I didn’t find it very appealing. It improved slightly on Sunday with bananas added, but overall the breakfast quality was just average.||The air conditioner worked well but was quite noisy, which made it noticeable during the night.||The front desk staff were polite, but they were not able to help with the Wi-Fi issues.||Overall, this is a clean and comfortable property in a good location, but the poor internet reliability makes it difficult for anyone needing to work remotely.

Positive: Location; shower had hot water, not guaranteed at this property Negative: Made 2 consecutive 1 night reservations so I showed a lil early to see if I could manage to get 1 room for 2 nights. They did just that. Wanted $30 at 2:35 b/c I was EARLY? I waited*Tiny TV

Review of La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Coral Springs University Dr – 3701 N University Drive Calling this hotel a “dump” is honestly being generous. It is shocking that this is a Wyndham Hotels & Resorts associated property. As Bonvoy members accustomed to a certain standard, we expected far better. From the start, the stay was disappointing. The hotel advertises daily sheet and towel changes (it even states so on the bathroom mirror), yet housekeeping only cleans the room every three days unless you specifically request service. After two days, we had to bring our used towels down to the front desk ourselves just to receive fresh ones. Noise & Supervision Issues Day 1: The room next to us was occupied by what appeared to be a youth sports team. They ran up and down the hallways and slammed doors all evening. We complained to the front desk. An agent eventually came upstairs and walked the floor, but the noise continued. My husband ultimately had to confront them in the hallway himself. Day 2: When we raised the issue again, the front desk said there was essentially nothing they could do and offered to cancel our reservation if we didn’t want to deal with it. They stated they had the coach’s phone number — yet the coach was not staying at the hotel. Who allows minors to stay in a hotel unsupervised and unchaperoned? Condition & Cleanliness The property is extremely rundown. The smell of stale carpet and marijuana hits you the moment you step off the elevator. The room itself is very outdated. The ceiling plaster is cracked and peeling, looking like it could fall at any moment. The bathtub has clearly been painted at some point, and the paint is now peeling off. The worst part was the floors. After walking around the room, the bottoms of our feet turned black. We went to a local dollar store, bought bleach, and I personally scrubbed the entryway and bathroom floors. The cloth came up black. These floors have clearly not been properly washed in a long time. Breakfast The “free breakfast” consists of bagels, juice, and coffee. The only hot options were waffles (that you make yourself) and boiled eggs — which appeared undercooked and sitting in water far too long. There was no fruit available and no hand sanitizer or hand-washing station in the dining area. By Day 2, we avoided breakfast entirely. By Day 3, many guests in the dining area were openly questioning the safety of the eggs. Other Issues On Day 3, our key cards stopped working, and we weren’t the only ones experiencing issues. We considered moving hotels, but doing so on short notice would have required packing everything up and starting over, so we endured the remainder of the stay. Tomorrow we leave — thankfully. This is, at best, a $99-per-night property, and that’s generous. It needs a major overhaul. The photos on Expedia are misleading; the reality does not match the listing. If you want a hotel where you don’t have to question basic cleanliness and safety, pay a little more and stay with a reputable major chain. This isn’t it. Wyndham should seriously reconsider keeping this property on its roster.

This is a nice hotel in a convenient location. The beds are very comfortable, air conditioning cold and adjustable. The only reservation I have is with the shower head. It was very basic. The desk staff was great and the food service lady was very pleasant. Breakfast was really good. Omelets and sausage instead of the waffle maker at most places. I will be happy to use this hotel on future visits. The hotels is a great value.

Meh. It was fine for a quick stay. It felt older & worn but clean & fine. The breakfast was limited but also good enough. Breakfast staff & cleaning crew were friendly . Some of the front staff were friendly & helpful & a couple were rude — wouldn’t even give a couple of the the toiletries they offer because “they were kinda low”. 🤷♀️. Location was great for what I personally needed. Internet was good, and they kept coffee 24-7 , both appreciated.

This hotel is a catfish, it’s not like the online photos AT ALL! Only reason I stayed here was because my previous hotel overbooked us. I 10/10 do not recommend staying here unless you absolutely cannot find any place else. Upon arrival, only one key card worked, my bed sheets and comforter had someone else’s blood on it which is disgusting and unsanitary. The ac unit barely worked and when it did it made sounds similar to a Boeing Jet taking off. The bathroom area was filthy, the shower was not cleaned, other people’s body hair was all over the walls and floor. The sink area has a large sticky spot and the fridge barely works. Same with the night stand and dresser areas, dirty spots from food and beverages left from previous guests. I had to purchase my own cleaning products to clean my room. Also, water pressure inside the shower was questionable at times. Rooms and hallways have a terrible odor like someone smoked and they tried to mask the scent. It’s almost impossible to get any sleep because one, you will hear everything going on in the hall and neighboring rooms and two, the smoke detector light flashes very brightly all night long. The WiFi is subpar and takes forever to load anything. During my stay, my other key card stopped working too. Overall, this is a very disgusting hotel that is not cleaned or held to any professional standards or with any ounce of integrity. I worked in hospitality, the motto is “clean the room how you’d like it to be if you were the guest” because who on earth wants to stay in a dirty room and find bodily fluids and hairs from strangers? Trick question. NO ONE DOES. Upper management should be ashamed and appalled with how these rooms are being left for guests. I will never stay at this hotel again. I wish I could give it ZERO STARS.

Extremely nice experience at the La Quinta Inn in Coral Springs South. 3100 North University Drive. Wonderful front desk staff, Trudy ( especially ), Gail, GiGi, Nasir, Brandon, Cheryl, Nasir, Wendell and of course Lynch. Very attentive and always welcoming. Hotel is very restful, has wonderful beds. Very comfortable room. Centrally located near restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. A truly relaxing experience. Much appreciated

I enjoyed the stay here at LaQuinta hotel. It was in a great location and I felt safe. There were pool amenities (but I didn't use it). It was quiet, food was good. I wish there was water at breakfast (but no luck). But there is ice. All in all is would stay here again.
